The Rolls Royce of Canes

Aging is something nobody can avoid. Aching legs, bent back, arthritis, aching joints, these are what the elders of today are dealing with but just as people age, the technology will always be here to alleviate the hardships of the inevitable.

Lithuanian designer Egle Ugintaite created an electronic cane that does everything from assisting in walking to saving trips to the hospital.

The Aid as Egle calls it, has the ability to monitor blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and has an in-built GPS system. There is also an emergency button that can notify police of the person’s exact location when pressed. I wish my great-great grandfather had this cane…

At the moment, this seems to be only a concept model however we will see this in production in the near future. The price has not been released yet.
