Samsung launches ‘Smart View’ App to put Smart TV in the palm of your hand

LONDON – June 24^th, 2011 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., the UK’s number one TV brand¹, today reveals the Samsung ‘Smart View’ app that enables users to share content between their Samsung Smart TVs and mobile devices.

Available for the Samsung Galaxy S II and at a later date for other Samsung Galaxy devices, the free ‘Smart View’ app means convergence between entertainment devices in the home is now a reality. The app works by displaying the content from the Samsung Smart TV on the mobile device’s screen over a home’s WiFi network, regardless of whether people are watching TV,  a movie from their Blu-ray player or even content from their camcorder or other devices.
