Recently we've been talking about the Olympics in the office and we would love to hear your thoughts - are you looking forward to them? Are you creating an Olympic version of Space Invaders? Do you have a mobile software solution you want to work with Samsung Mobile Innovator on?

Leave a comment below and I'll be in touch from the 21st March....

AiRaid is @ Device Testing Stage.....

Last year we started to let the world know about our in-house application "AiRaid" - but then it all went silent.. There were some technical issues, essentially we had to wait for the rest of the world to catch up with our groundbreaking developments, and now the project has now risen like the undead from the title!!! We submitted it for QA last week (you may of seen the slightly wonky video here) and I have a strong feeling it'll be coming to the App Store soon.... Keep your eyes peeled for #AiRaid - ROTU

Ads in bada Apps

Hopefully you've just received the same email I have about ads in bada - what does it mean? Well, essentially from 2011 you'll be able to build in 3rd party ads into your apps. This opens up new funding possibilities that previously would of had your app kicked out of Q.A in the blink of an eye. The only condition seems to be with regard to the Map API, tying you into using deCarta embedded ads for a FREE app - Will this mean a new range of hybrid ultra cheap apps, supported by advertising? With all revenues going directly to the developer, this is a pretty exciting update to the dynamic. Will you be contacting your local independent grocer to sell their adds in your app?

Security in bada apps Video (Part Une)

I've been saving this for a rainy cold day such as this, but we recently shot a video looking at security in bada. In it, I question Jon about security and his examples, driving the story forward. We initially intended for the video to be a trilogy, but we had to cut out the scene where we set fire to the set and show Alice and Bob's TOP SECRET project (essentially, it's a funky chicken dance robot, with fricking laser beams on it's head).

Free Samsung Wave Life coaching with White Fuse Media

Want to turn over a new leaf and improve your health, the health of your little ones or getting ready for a new arrival and want some portable advice? Boy, you came to the right place, as today I am checking out White Fuse Media’s very sensible trio of apps, produced in conjunction with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).
Pregnancy Tips
In order of review we’ll go from cradle to grave, so to speak, kicking things off with Pregnancy Tips
Upon starting the app, the first thing you will notice is that the content is supplied by NHS choices, the online “face” of the NHS, so you know the info is going to be honest, trustworthy and sensible. You’ll be prompted to enter bundle of joy’s date of arrival (guys, you can enter your partners due date – if you don’t know it yet, there are no excuses now!). Then it’s simply a matter of customising the app to notify you of up to 3 top tips a week, each providing relevant practical information on everything from morning sickness to birthing methods. Harking back four years, I would have found this app comforting to have to hand!
