"The best way to describe it is to have you download the iPhone equivalent that I want to port to Windows Phone. The app is called Ringtones Uncensored and there are free versions so try those. Pro adds volume and speed options and allows the user to select from 40 voices and 200 I tro sound fx. bada security class video app source code now available

We’re pleased to announce that the code example used in our two part video introduction to bada’s security classes is now available (You can find the source code here). Relive the adventures of Alice and Bob as they try and avoid the attentions of the ever resourceful Eve and at the same time learn more about public/private key encryption, digital signatures and hashes.

Encrypting with bada? Check out our tutorial video now!

Just thought I'd let you know the second half of our Security in bada video is almost complete, so if you are planning to utilise any sort of encryption or digital signatures, make sure you catch up on the first half of the video below!



This video introduces bada's security classes, looking at Public/Private Encryption. Part two will continue the excellent Alice and Bob scenario, looking at Digital Signatures and Hashes. Check it out - according to security reports on-line fraud is going to continue to grow at alarming rates this year, while the teams that combat it have all had their budgets slashed. Much better to be safe than sorry we think!

Ads in bada Apps

Hopefully you've just received the same email I have about ads in bada - what does it mean? Well, essentially from 2011 you'll be able to build in 3rd party ads into your apps. This opens up new funding possibilities that previously would of had your app kicked out of Q.A in the blink of an eye. The only condition seems to be with regard to the Map API, tying you into using deCarta embedded ads for a FREE app - Will this mean a new range of hybrid ultra cheap apps, supported by advertising? With all revenues going directly to the developer, this is a pretty exciting update to the dynamic. Will you be contacting your local independent grocer to sell their adds in your app?
