Snow Enchantment at Saporo

There are many reasons for a visit to the Land of Sakura. Seeing how technological advances can be combined with a culture, see historic relics, or enjoy the natural scenery that unfortunately that is passed.



Consisting of a series of islands that stretches from north to south, Japan has several areas that can be visited as a tourist attraction. Call it a Sapporo, a tourist from a tropical country, snow in this region to be something interesting to look at and enjoy during the holidays. Especially when coupled with exciting attractions. As in Sapporo.

Sapporo is the fifth largest city in Japan after Tokyo, Yokohama, Osaka, and Nagoya. Inaugurated as the capital of Hokkaido Prefecture on August 1, 1972, known for its bird's Sappporo miso ramen is warm and refreshing. While the District Suzukino who became one of the famous places in Japan can be targeted for entertainment or shopping.



The right time to visit Sapporo is in February, because it coincided with the holding of an annual event that lasts for only one week that is, the Snow Festival.

The festival was first held in 1950 and became known by foreign tourists around the year 1972, coinciding with the holding of the Winter Olympics in Sapporo (the first Winter Olympics in Asia). Two years later, the festival began enlivened with an international contest of ice and snow sculpture which was followed by artists from around the world.

Odori Park

The natural beauty of Sapporo also managed to encourage tourists to visit there. If the winter, visitors can see the snow and Snow Festival, in the spring of this place offers a view of the enchanting flower beds.
