Last year, 30% of winning websites had a mobile Intranet. This year, 60% of winners had a mobile intranet which shows how much the mobile access is trending.
In testing mobile websites on mobile devices, Jackob Nielsen and his team found out that sites with fewer features have much better usability than full-featured websites. This year's winning mobile intranets followed this recommendation,
