Last week, Samsung demo’d the latest handsets on the market, the Galaxy S and the Wave, at Casual Connect Seattle 2010. The conference brought together over 2000 members of the casual gaming industry to look at the latest trends in casual gaming design, monetization, movement to mobility and marketing. After an inspirational keynote from Ed Viesturs, a world renowned mountain climber, discussions continued onto topics including the future of social gaming and how to bring games to the ever changing mobile environment. Samsung’s own Martin Tannerfors, Director Samsung Mobile Innovator, brought insight to casual gaming developers in his session about the differences between writing mobile applications in HTML 5 vs. the native environment.
